Synopsis:
These 40' diameter arches weigh 16,000 pounds. The design of this sculpture was a collaboration with Homelink Students and local engineers. It acts as a large annual sun dial that casts specific shadows during the summer solstice and both equinoxes.
It symbolizes the sun and is the center of a larger sculptural installation throughout the region that has planets at the right distance and size from a 40' diameter sun.
