Synopsis:
Vortex sculpture was inspired by the work of Andy Goldsworthy. This sculpture parallels the idea of using ice sickles to create form but with steel. The circle created by fragments sybolizes portal, new beginnings, and cycles.
It is used to frame space and thought.
Won best of show during the Annual Juried Show at Allied Arts Gallery in Richland.
